On the demo site, Mission News displays a Twitter feed in the right sidebar.
This comes from the Custom Twitter Feeds plugin by Smash Balloon. Custom Twitter Feeds can be used to display custom feeds sourced from a user, a hashtag, or your home (your tweets and your followers' tweets). It can be used in any of Mission News' widget areas including both sidebars.
