With Mission News Pro, you can display a news ticker across the top or bottom of your site with the latest headlines. Follow these steps to add and customize the news ticker on your site:
- Visit the Customizer (Appearance → Customize)
- Click on the News Ticker section
- Click on the Content section
- Switch the Enabled the news ticker? setting to "Yes"
The newly enabled news ticker will now display along the top of your site. Next, you cna select where you want to display the news ticker and what posts you want to display.
If you choose to use your latest posts in the news ticker, you can use all of your latest posts or choose a specific category or tag. You can also choose the max number of posts to include in the slider.
If you select the Custom Posts option, you'll get access to a custom post selector instead:
You can choose to display any number of posts you want using this setting.
Style the news ticker
In the Style section, you can choose to place the news ticker at the top or bottom of your site, change the colors, modify the scrolling speed, update the label text, and turn on/off the "pause on hover" setting.
