Apex can be installed and activated in three ways on your site.
Installing from your WordPress Dashboard is the easiest and recommended method.

Install from your WordPress Dashboard
To install Apex from your WordPress admin dashboard:
- Visit the Appearance menu in your dashboard
- Click the Add New button at the top of the screen
- Use the search bar on the right-side of the screen to search for "Apex"
- Hover over Apex in the search results, and click the Install button
- Once the page reloads, click the Activate link to activate Apex
Apex is now the active theme on your site.
Install from your WordPress Dashboard via zip file
Apex can also be installed from your WordPress dashboard by uploading a zip file. To install Apex with a zip file:
- Download a new copy of Apex from its WordPress.org page
- Visit the Appearance menu in your dashboard
- Click the Add New button at the top of the screen
- Click the Upload Theme button at the top of the screen
- Click the Choose File button and select the apex.zip file you just downloaded
- Click the Install Now button
- Once the page reloads, click the Activate link to activate Apex
Apex is now the active theme on your site.
Install via FTP
To install Apex via FTP:
- Download a new copy of Apex from its WordPress.org page
- Unzip the apex.zip file on your computer
- Connect to your server with an FTP client (like Filezilla )
- Navigate to the themes directory on your server (wordpress/wp-content/themes)
- Upload the "apex" folder to the themes directory
- Visit your WordPress dashboard and navigate to the Appearance menu
- Hover over Apex and click the Activate button
Apex is now the active theme on your site.
